Investigation Underway Following Explosion at BAE Systems Factory in South Wales

BAE Systems, the largest defense contractor in the UK and a prominent engineering firm, is conducting an investigation after an explosion occurred at its facility in Glascoed, Monmouthshire, South Wales, on Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson representing the arms manufacturer confirmed that the incident took place at Glascoed facility but reassured that there were no reported injuries, and all personnel have been safely located.

“Our emergency response team continue to monitor the facility and a full investigation has been launched.”
