Involved in fire safety for TOTAL’s French Logistic division (operating 20 tanks terminals in the early 2000’s), I have worked with GESIP (French association for Industrial safety and fire fighting) to decrease application rates to be used in bund fires according to optimization of some key parameters like foam performance, and with LASTFIRE for tank fires. In charge of Refining and Chemicals plant fire safety coordination, with fire strategies based on internal fire stations and leader of an internal fire safety working group at TotalEnergies since 2010, I have brought my Company to have a peculiar attention to the choice of concentrates, leading to an internal selection protocol based on performance tests. Now Expert in the domain for the whole Company, I am in charge to coordinate the transition of the whole sites, priority to Europe first, from fluorinated products to Fluorine free foam.
