Content of Members Area
Exchange of information is an essential part of the JOIFF Organisation. JOIFF aims that Members have access to the best available detail to assist them in implementing procedures and systems of work to Best Industry Practice Worldwide. With exchange of information on the latest accidents/incidents, experiences, technology, knowledge and practices, JOIFF Members can learn from others in High Hazard Industry and in so doing, reduce their risk and improve performance. This will ensure a safer and more professional working environment for Emergency Services Personnel.
In the Members Area, JOIFF Members have access to:
- Standards: This section deals with Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, reports etc. that have been developed by or provided to JOIFF to assist JOIFF Members in building up operating procedures to current Best Industry Practice.
- Shared Learning: This section has archive of detail circulated through the JOIFF Shared Learning network since it began in 2001, so that lessons learnt are not lost.
- Events: From time to time, JOIFF organises and participates in meetings and conferences and in the Events page, a number of the papers presented at these meetings and conferences are included.
- Trucks: The Featured Fire Trucks page shows some of the types of fleets operated by JOIFF Members all over the World.
