Subject: Foam In Eyes - Transfer Safety Date of Email reporting Incident: Sun 15/06/2003 20:45 Report Detail: Foam In Eyes - Transfer Safety Thanks to XXX for passing on this interesting incident at a 'European' Refinery which caused a fire-fighter to have Fire fighting foam concentrate sprayed in his eyes. I know a lot of you transfer foam compound - indeed we have just transferred 20,000 litres this week from one of our Tanker Barrels. It serves as a timely reminder that even routine tasks should be thought through and all equipment that is used should be checked before commencing the operation. Linked Document:
