Hazchem General Guidance
Initial Email Enquiry –
I'm not sure if anyone can help me on this one?
I am looking to develop some general guidance on responding to Hazmat, Fire and Confined Space rescue incidents for our site Fire Team Leaders.
I have more specific guidance for our site specific hazards but would like to give some general guidance on the points to consider when responding to these types of incidents.
1st Response –
There are many and numerous web
based links to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Hazmat response.
I have included a link to a UK run Website which has a number of Hazmat Links
and downloads for you to look through.
The NFC - NFPA 471,472, & 473 are good guidance documents if you want
to procure them. The same is true for fire and confined space entry. If anyone
else has some helpful guidance/procedures on Hazmat Response for Paul (maybe
SOP's, PDF's PPT's) please 'respond to all' and share the learning.

2nd Response –
Click here to view a HAZMAT Training PPT that I put together from several guidance
documents.
