Vehicle Crash Barriers - Do You Have Them?
Saturday Evening a Northumbrian
Water Vehicle left the road and rolled, thankfully the driver was shaken
but unhurt in the event - as you can see from the pictures this was
a very close call with the pipe corridor which carries a variety of
gases and liquids (Inflammable/Toxic) as well as essential utilities
throughout the area. We have gone to a great deal of expense as a company
protecting the 2,700 kilometres of pipeline which runs through 350 kilometres
of service trench across Teesside from vehicular Impact with and extensive
barriers program. However, it's 'Murphy Law' which dictates when and
where an RTA will take place!!
