Subject:         Netherlands - Apartment next to Tamoil Petrol Station in Eindhoven to be Demolished

Report Detail:

The apartment in Eindhoven that was affected by fire is almost certainly to be demolished. The Heat affected the pillars under the building. "In the worst case the building collapses by itself," said the fire brigade.   An area around the complex is evacuated.    The fire broke out at 3:45 am at a gas station on the Lieven de Keylaan, in the district Woensel.  The fire quickly spread from the petrol station and shop to under the residential complex.  The fire was under control at 06:00. There was no explosion. The fuel is stored safely underground. The cause is not yet known and to be determined.
