Unofficial reports state employees were working on a pump when it caught fire

A fire at a Coffeyville, Kan. oil refinery sent four people to the hospital early Tuesday morning.  According to firefighters, CVR Refining caught fire just before 12:30 a.m. in the ISOM area of the refinery.  Within about an hour the fire was out and the scene was clear an hour after that.  Four refinery employees sustained varying degrees of burns and were taken to hospitals for treatment.  Officials on the scene say some of those injured were transported by medical helicopter, though all four are expected to survive their injuries.  The cause of the fire remains unknown but an investigation will continue throughout the day.  In a statement from CVR Refining, company officials say initial reports indicate no impact to the surrounding community.
"CVR Refining personnel express their deepest concern for and are currently providing assistance to the injured employees and their families," reads the statement.
