Worker Dies, Four Injured in Fire at Mina Abdullah Refinery

A fire erupted in the desulfurization unit of Kuwait’s Mina Abdullah refinery, leading to the tragic death of one worker and injuries to four others. The incident occurred on Thursday, as confirmed by the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

Emergency teams quickly responded to the scene, and the blaze was successfully brought under control. KNPC reported that two of the injured workers required hospitalization for further treatment.

At this time, the company has not released details about whether the fire has disrupted refinery operations or affected production output.
