USA – Three People Hurt in Explosion at Oneok Refinery in Mont Belvieu

An explosion at the Oneok oil refinery in Mont Belvieu on Monday morning resulted in minor injuries to three individuals.

According to the Mont Belvieu Police Department, all refinery employees have been safely accounted for following the incident. The Mont Belvieu Fire Department was dispatched to the site to manage the situation.

In a statement, Oneok confirmed the event and expressed gratitude for the swift actions of emergency responders.

“We are aware of a fire at our Mont Belvieu, Texas facility,” the company said. “Safety is one of our core values, and we appreciate the rapid response from local emergency teams. The fire was extinguished quickly, all personnel have been confirmed safe, and the facility has been stabilized. A full investigation will be conducted to determine the cause, and operations will resume once it is safe to do so.”
