VIDEO: Major Blaze Erupts at Chemical Factory in Hyderabad’s Cherlapalli

A significant fire broke out at a chemical factory in Hyderabad’s Cherlapalli area on Tuesday evening, triggering widespread alarm among residents. Firefighting units were swiftly deployed to the scene, where emergency response teams worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control. While no casualties have been reported so far, authorities have not yet confirmed whether anyone might still be trapped inside.

Dramatic footage circulating on social media captured factory employees and nearby residents fleeing the site as flames rapidly engulfed the building. The blaze, originating from the Shesha Sai chemical factory, sent thick plumes of black smoke into the sky, with flames visibly pouring from its windows and rooftop.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire. Officials have launched a formal inquiry, though the extent of property damage and potential injuries remains uncertain. Residents in the vicinity have reported experiencing respiratory discomfort due to the lingering dense smoke.

The fire is believed to have started around 6:00 PM following an explosion within the factory premises. Emergency services cordoned off the area soon after the incident, prompting local evacuations as a precautionary measure against the spreading flames. Firefighting efforts were hampered by multiple secondary explosions from chemical barrels stored inside the facility, with at least six fire tenders actively engaged in containing the blaze.
